Inspection and maintenance of lubrication system
The lubrication system is an important guarantee to ensure the normal operation of the key moving parts of the grinder. TC grinding machines are equipped with automatic or manual lubrication devices on the guide rails, lead screws, and spindles. Before starting the machine every day, check the amount of lubricating oil, observe whether the lubrication pump is operating normally, and check whether the oil circuit is leaking or blocked.
The operator should change the lubricating oil regularly, especially after high-intensity continuous operation, and shorten the replacement cycle. It is recommended to check the state of the lubrication system every 500 hours of operation to ensure that the guide rails and lead screws are in a good oil film protection state to prevent dry grinding and excessive wear of parts.
Management of grinding wheel state
The grinding wheel is the core component of the grinding process, and its state directly determines the processing quality. TC grinding machines usually use high-strength abrasive grinding wheels, which have a certain wear resistance, but they still need to be dressed after long-term use.
The grinding wheel should be checked daily for safety hazards such as chipping and cracks; after processing a certain number of rolls, the dresser should be used for online dressing to restore its geometry and grinding performance. Grinding wheels with severe deflection or imbalance should be replaced in time to avoid affecting the stability of spindle operation.
Cleaning and maintenance of cooling system
The cooling system prevents the workpiece and grinding wheel from generating excessive temperatures under high-speed friction. TC grinding machines are usually equipped with powerful cooling devices, including water tanks, pumps, nozzles, filters, etc.
After daily work, operators should clean up debris and sediment in the coolant pool to avoid clogging the nozzle. The coolant should be replaced regularly to maintain the cleanliness of the liquid and prevent bacteria from growing or corrosive substances. It is recommended to check the operation of the cooling pump and the patency of the pipeline every week, and replace the filter if necessary.
Inspection of CNC system and electrical components
The CNC system is the brain of the TC grinding machine, and its stability affects the accuracy of the whole machine control and program execution. Operators should check the system every day for alarms, freezes, program loss, etc., and regularly back up programs and parameter settings.
The electrical cabinet should be kept clean and dry to avoid moisture erosion or dust accumulation. It is recommended to open the electric control cabinet every month, use a clean brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust, check whether the terminal is loose, whether the fan and cooling device are operating normally, and prevent high temperature from causing damage to electronic components.
Cleaning and protection of guide rails and lead screws
Guide rails and lead screws are core components to ensure the accuracy of the processing path. The TC grinding machine is equipped with a protective cover and a scraper plate, but cutting fluid and metal debris will still enter the sliding part during long-term processing.
During daily maintenance, attention should be paid to cleaning the surface of the guide rails and the lead screw threads to prevent debris from accumulating and causing poor operation. You can use non-woven cloth with industrial alcohol to wipe, and it is not recommended to use water washing to prevent rust. For equipment that has been shut down for a long time, anti-rust oil should be applied for protection.
Positioning system and sensor calibration
The high-precision processing of TC grinding machines depends on positioning devices such as servo motors, grating rulers, and limit switches. Regular calibration and testing of these components can timely detect position deviations and abnormal feedback problems.
It is recommended that professional maintenance personnel conduct a full-machine geometric accuracy test every quarter, including straightness, verticality, parallelism, etc. For key sensors, check whether their connection cables and fixed positions are firm to avoid interference during processing that affects accuracy.
Overall cleaning and work environment maintenance
The equipment body should be kept clean and free of oil, especially the operation panel, key area and human-machine interface. TC grinding machines usually operate in a processing environment with suitable temperature and humidity. It is recommended to keep the workshop ventilated and dry to avoid long-term adhesion of dust and oil mist.
Before closing work every day, the entire equipment should be wiped, and the exposed metal surface should be cleaned with a soft cloth to prevent rust; corrosive solvents or sharp tools are prohibited for scraping.
